Less concentrated

Today I´m trying to work in Golferus Project, but I´m not concentrated. I wanna work hard but I haven´t got my mind in other place. It´s difficult to work nowadays. I've got time, but I need a planning to mark objectives. I must have milestones to work with a plannification.

The main problem is that I wanna work in all my projects in parallel. It´s difficult to work in several fronts, but it´s impossible because I don´t put in forward them.

I think I must plan my work, but................. Iwill finish the first season of Californication instead of work. I´m a bad man.

Today is the day

Today is the day is similiar a Dexter´s phrase when he goes to kill somebody, but the meaning of my sentence is quite different.

Today is my last day in Properly Software, I´m going to resign today because I´m gonna work in other company.

Here I lived more than five years working with good people. I learnt a lot of things in that years, and I has the feeling that here I was made an engineer.

I´m sad because, here I left good friends, and I´m nervious because I´ll meet new people and I´ll work with my friend Antonio.

Here I lived bad moments. But I hope forget that bad moments and remember only the best one. I don´t wanna reproch anything to anybody, but 'everyone has what it deserves'. I hope deserve a lot of good things.

It´s a very sad day, I feel like mourn. I was with the same feeling when Antonio left the office.

That path began on 18th Dec 2009. Something wrong was produced that I decide to change. Rather, I knew it must change. Seven months later, I´ll say goodbye to all my colleages. Thank´s for all, I hope the best for you, and I´ll never forget you.

Bad surprise

Few days ago, I read an article about the las stable release of Liferay. I was happy because I could work with a stable release, that meant don´t change the development environment until the next version. Unfortunately, they release a new version today. Now I have to download the new version of the code, the plugin SDK, the container and the documentation. Furthermore, I must configure all the component to build a new develpment environment.

In the last two month, I built a development environmnet for each not stable release, in other words, I built a development environmet for the Beta releases and for the Release Candidate releases. I don´t wanna build a new development environment again, but If I wanna work with the lastest version I will build a new development environment.

I need a development environment for Liferay 6, because I'm working in a social networking for golf players. Now it goes slow, but I'm very hopeful. I hope this project goes right and many people use our (Antonio's and Mine) tool.

New friendly blog

I have a new blog in my blog list. It`s made by my close friend Antonio. He is making a blog about technology about web development. This is a very insteresting topic (specially for me) and I hope he will write a lot of interesting entries.

Finishing Dexter Season

In the last month I watch Dexter. Dexter is a TV serie about a blood expert for the police who loves kill people. He needs to kill people to be happy, and he has a code which he only kills bad people. He use the police information to kill killers.

I started with the first season 2 month ago, more or less. Nowadays I am in the fourth season and I have only five episodes to watch. The end is near. That season is very insteresting, and I wanna watch all espisodes together but I haven´t got enough time.

I read the fourth has been the best. This season increase the number of spectators and the people is waiting fretfully for the fifth season. In September that season will be released in the USA. I don't know when it will be released in Spain.

New blog reference

Today I've got a new blog reference in my blog list. That blog is mantained by my close friend Laura. I looked it over before to write this entry and it looks very interesting. I like blogs where people express their feelings and with a lot of images.

Not enough time

Don´t you have the sensation that you haven´t got enough time? Don´t you usually feel that you've lost the time? This is my main feeling. I wanna do many thing along day but at the end of the day, when I am going to the bed I feel like I don´t do all the stuff that I wanna do. I think I lose the time, but all the time I'm doing different kind of thing.

I need that the day has thirty hour to do all the things that I wanna do. I must study English, at least an hour per day. I must mantain mine two blogs, this one and http://blog.menasoft.es (and matain the website menasoft.es). I must finish homework from the master, and I must discover a new idea for my tesis. Finally I wanna make a website for golf players called golferus but last months I haven´t got time to scratch me.

Many people things that I´m a peevish but I love my job, I love computers and I wanna do all the things in my mind but the time is limited and I can´t change that.

Work again

I've finished my holidays and start to work again. This return back to the work is very different than another return because in a few days I´ll change my work.

This Monday and Tuesday I felt nostalgic because I had a nostalgic relation with my colleague. They knows that I'll leave the office. When I talk with them I feel the finish of our colleague relation. They are good people but I must change, I must have new objectives and I wanna improve my engineer characteristic working in a more specific place.

I´m nervious because I´ll go to a new workplace but I feel hopeful because it is a new experience for my career.

First day of Holiday

My first day in my holidays was a very stressful day. First I get up early, at 8:30. I pick up my girlfriend to her job, was in the bank and do the shopping in Mercadona. When I finished that tasks it was 11:30. At 12:00 I went to the gym and do many exersices. When I finished my gym time, I came back home and did the lunch for my girlfriend and me. I had a shower before ate the lunch. You can look that morning, was very stressful.

In the afternoon, I was in Carrefour with my girlfriend. We did the month shopping. We bought many things to use in this month. When we came back home from Carrefour at 16:00 I had a nap and was a little relaxed time.

At 18:00 I went to the driving range in Parador del Golf. I had a date with Antonio. We practise golf together for a while, and talk about many things, like life, wedding, computers, friends, etc. He is a nice man, and I like to spend many time talking with him.

Well, when I finished my practise time with Antonio I came back home at 22:00 and take a dinner with my girlfriend. I was relaxed for a while in the sofa and now I´m in my computer because I will work in programming. I wanna know the new characteristics of Liferay 6.0 and I wanna know how to make programs with it.

My holidays

Tomorrow will start my holidays. I haven´t got holidays since last October. I need them, I´m very tired. I need to rest, and I have to do many things in that days.

First, I must put in order many documents, in other words, I'll wait in big lines to do something that it can be done in 5 minutes. I afraid, but I´m prepared too.

Second, I must prepare all the thing for my brother wedding. I must buy a vest, a tie, and a shirt. Is very difficult buy this things, mainly the vest. Yesteday I was looking for one and I found one that cost 225 €. I think that is very expensive only for one vest. I'll use it few times, and I don´t wanna pay much money for that one.

Third, I must train EVERYDAY. I must play golf more than 8 times, because I'll have a competition on 17th July. I wanna win it. I wanna go to the gym and swim a lot. A priori, you say many stuff to do but finally you can´t do that and do another things.

In summary, I hope that holidays will be a very good time for me. I hope to tell many things good about it in this blog.

Spanish Football match

Today is the day. Maybe a good day for Spanish fans or maybe the worst. We have a good team, they play very well but in World Cup the luck is very important.

We started very bad, but we must belive, because they won Eurcup 2008. They did a good match against Switzerland but they lost (bad luck). The next one, they won it, they played well but the opponent was very soft.

Today will be a hard match. Chile has a good team, they like to play the ball. They know how to play with the ball, spanish team too. I think this match will be won by the team that get the ball more time.

Is a good phylosophy play the ball, because the ball runs but the players run less. I think is better play with the ball than without. Maybe hard run ninety minutes behind the ball and don´t take it. I will be happier playing the ball than running behind it.I hope Spanish team wins and we celebrate it.

Finally, the business of the year is sell spanish flags. There are many balcony with flags. It´s incredible, three years ago few people had flag in their balcony, but nowadays, many of them have it in their balconies. I think that is fashion.

My first blog entry in Menasoft.es

Today, I've written my firt blog entry in the Menasoft website. You can find my technological blog in http://blog.menasoft.es. This blog is about technological issues. The topic of that blog is mainly Liferay. I´ll try to share my experience in Liferay development in that blog.

I usually work with Liferay. Mine sites are developed with PHP but my main development is Golferus Project. Is a social network for golf player. You can visit it in http://www.golferus.com. This project is shared with my partner Anthony. He´s the best developer in user interface who I've known.

I´m very hopeful with that project. Golferus will be a common topic in my blog entries.

Cloudy day

Today is a rare summer day. It´s cloudy and it isn´t no warm. I hope it'll change because I wanna go to the swimming pool. Few weeks ago, I started to go to the swimming pool twice a week. I usually went on Tuesday and Thurdays after went to the gym.

This week is special. I must do many thing for prepare my brother´s wedding. Yesterday I was looking for a vest. That is a very difficult task because you must combine your suit, whith the vest, the shirt and the tie, uoooo, that´s a very difficult combination. I'd like to wear a blue vest with a blue tie in combination and a white shirt, but I have a problem with my suit. It´s grey like silver with shine (a little). I will use many colours if I decide to use that combination.

Next days, I must go shopping and buy a vest, a shirt, and a tie. My brother wedding is in sixteen days but I must have my clothes next week.

It´s stressful.

Liferay 6.0 RC2

Few days ago, Liferay published a new Release Candidate for Liferay Portal. It may be the lastest not stable release; problably the next one will be the first stable release.

There are several changes in that release. First I find out a new eclipse plugin, it's called Liferay IDE. With that you can use the Liferay Plugin SDK with an IDE in Eclipse. It was difficult to install for me, because I worked with Java JDK 5 and it needs Java JDK 6. I could solve it after many installations.

I was surprised with that IDE. You can do common tasks in Liferay with it. There are editor for Liferay descriptors and some of them have got special view for it.

I will continue discovering Liferay 6.0 RC2. I hope to migrate Golferus to Liferay 6.0 before my brother´s bachelor party but it may be difficult
